An ambitious massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) set in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth, developed by Amazon Games in partnership with Embracer Group. The game was intended to offer a fresh twist on Tolkien's mythology rather than a standard recreation. The project was cancelled in 2024 as part of Amazon's strategic pivot away from first-party AAA MMO development.
