Pox Nora is a tactical turn-based strategy game originally released in 2004 by Sony Online Entertainment and later maintained by Desert Owl Games. Although it had a niche but loyal fanbase, the game's age (over 19 years old) and lack of major recent updates suggest a very small, dedicated player base remains. Board/strategy games online of this era typically have very low activity unless continuously supported by expansions or eSports scenes, which is not the case for Pox Nora.

STALCRAFT is an open-world online shooter with survival and MMO elements, developed by EXBO and released in late 2022. The game draws from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Minecraft communities, and, while its player base at launch was decent, it has seen a decline common for indie online shooters. Current estimates, based on Steam charts and community activity, suggest daily active players in the low thousands. However, it does not have the scale or persistent shared world typical of a true MMO.
