How these estimates are made

City of Heroes: Homecoming

City of Heroes: Homecoming is estimated to have 28 – 13k players a day. Around 13k – 1m accounts have played it in total. No Steam data is published for this game, so the range is modelled from the size of its Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube and app-store communities. It is a rough band rather than a measurement.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

Star Wars: The Old Republic is estimated to have 12k – 41k players a day. Around 1m – 3m accounts have played it in total. The range is anchored on Steam’s official concurrent-player and review counts, then converted to daily actives and accounts — so it covers the Steam player base and will under-count a game played mostly through its own launcher or on console.
