Black Squad is a free-to-play online tactical FPS released in 2017. While it initially attracted attention as a Counter-Strike alternative, its player base has declined over the years due to genre saturation and competition from larger titles. As a shooter with moderate publisher support and based on current trends for similar games, an estimate of around 1,500–2,500 daily players is reasonable. It is not considered an MMO, as it lacks a persistent world and large-scale interactions typical of the genre.

Second Life is a long-running sandbox virtual world released in 2003 by Linden Research. Its mainstream popularity peaked in the late 2000s, but it retains a loyal user base thanks to its unique user-created content and social interaction. It is still supported and receives regular updates, but its daily player base is much smaller than during its peak years. Current estimates place its daily active users in the tens of thousands.
