ARK: Extinction is an expansion for ARK: Survival Evolved, a survival action-adventure game from Studio Wildcard, released in 2018. While the main game retains a solid player base, expansions like Extinction have lower engagement than the core ARK experience, especially several years post-launch. However, ARK still sees a dedicated community and regular server activity. Extinction-specific daily players are much lower than the main game's but still significant due to the DLC being bundled or included in some versions, and overall interest in ARK content.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is a classic MMORPG launched in 2011 by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. Although it had a large player base at launch, the numbers have declined over the years, especially since it's now over a decade old and several expansions have come and gone. However, it still maintains a loyal core community thanks to regular content updates and the strength of the Star Wars IP. As an MMORPG, it does meet the MMO criteria with a persistent online world and the ability to interact with thousands of players simultaneously.
