Realm of the Mad God Game Review

Realm of the Mad God Game Review

I've been playing Realm of the Mad God (RotMG) for a few months now and I'm really enjoying it. It's an amazing game, so smooth and so much fun to play. If you want to know what it's like, read my review below.

Realm of the Mad God is a free massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Wild Shadow Studios. It's a 2D top-down shooter in which you play as an adventurer trying to survive in the realm of Oryx. Your goal is to defeat each boss monster on every area of the map and finally fight the mad god himself, Oryx.

The game was released back in January 2012 and has since then been updated with two new classes (the archer and the trickster) as well as a bunch of new items. I've read on their official site, that they'll be adding more side quests, monsters, and items soon.

There are currently four areas in RotMG: The Elven Forest, The Lost Halls, The Mad Lab, and finally the Wine Cellar. Each area has its own boss monster which you have to kill in order to complete that area. There are currently five different classes, but there will be six when they release the Trickster class soon. I'm playing as an assassin at the moment, which is a class with high speed and dodge chance. The Trickster class will be similar to the assassin, but with less speed and more dodge chance.

I've also got a few friends playing this game, which definitely makes it better; we team up and help each other get through all the harder areas and bosses of RotMG. But if you run into someone who isn't very nice, don't be afraid to mute them. People are actually really good at this game in general and won't bother you much if you just simply ask them to stop talking.

I think RotMG has a lot of potential for being even better in the future, so I'm really excited to see what's coming up next. If you're interested in trying it out, you can download it here.

The game has a few bugs, but they aren't very noticeable. I know it's hard to believe that this is totally free to play considering how good the quality of the game is. The website states that "Realm of the Mad God will always be 100% free to play" — and they honestly mean it.

This game is both fun and exciting to play, so I definitely recommend everyone who enjoys playing games such as Diablo or similar ones to give this a try!
