World of Warcraft Classic, released in 2019 by Blizzard Entertainment, is a major MMORPG revival of the original WoW experience. The game continues to have a robust, though markedly smaller, player base than at launch, thanks to a steady cycle of classic content and expansions (like Wrath of the Lich King Classic). As an MMORPG developed and maintained by a top-tier publisher, it sees strong retention, but is several years past launch and shares its community with retail WoW. Given this, an estimate in the 200,000–250,000 daily player range is reasonable as of 2024.

Odin: Valhalla Rising is a mobile and PC MMORPG developed by Lionheart Studio and published by Kakao Games. It launched in 2021 and initially attracted significant attention in Korea and parts of Asia. As an MMORPG with cross-platform play, it benefits from the strong MMO market in those regions, but daily active players are likely lower outside of Asia. Given the game's age and the typical lifecycle for mobile MMORPGs, combined with Kakao's publishing power, a daily player count in the 60,000–70,000 range is plausible, with retention primarily in Korea and Taiwan.
