Vigor is a free-to-play online shooter developed by Bohemia Interactive, released in 2019. It has maintained a niche but stable player base, especially on consoles, due to its unique survival and looter-shooter gameplay and ongoing updates. However, as a session-based instanced game rather than a persistent world, its daily active players are modest compared to larger titles.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is a classic MMORPG launched in 2011 by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. Although it had a large player base at launch, the numbers have declined over the years, especially since it's now over a decade old and several expansions have come and gone. However, it still maintains a loyal core community thanks to regular content updates and the strength of the Star Wars IP. As an MMORPG, it does meet the MMO criteria with a persistent online world and the ability to interact with thousands of players simultaneously.
