Star Trek Online is a long-running MMORPG first released in 2010 by Cryptic Studios and published by Perfect World Entertainment. Though past its peak, it maintains a loyal niche player base due to consistent content updates and the enduring popularity of the Star Trek IP. The game continues to receive seasonal events and new content expansions, but active daily player numbers have gradually decreased over the years, typical for most MMORPGs over a decade old.

Tom Clancy's The Division launched in 2016 and was initially very popular due to its open-world multiplayer shooter design and Ubisoft's backing. However, after the release of The Division 2 and years without major updates, its active player base has declined substantially. Some dedicated players still remain, but the game is far past its peak.
