Though past its peak, it maintains a loyal niche player base due to consistent content updates and the enduring popularity of the Star Trek IP. The game continues to receive seasonal events and new content expansions, but active daily player numbers have gradually decreased over the years, typical for most MMORPGs over a decade old.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is a classic MMORPG launched in 2011 by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts.
