As a platform with persistent worlds, it fits the broader MMO definition.

Vikings: War of Clans is a mobile strategy game by Plarium, released in 2015. It had significant popularity at launch due to aggressive advertising and genre appeal, but like most mobile strategy titles, its player base has steadily declined with age and market saturation. It retains a niche, loyal userbase common to older Plarium games, but is far from its peak.
