Path of Exile is a long-running free-to-play action RPG from Grinding Gear Games, first released in 2013 and supported by frequent large expansions. Although it's over a decade old, its popularity remains relatively strong due to seasonal Leagues and a dedicated community. Daily active player numbers fluctuate with league releases, but average activity is estimated at around 70,000 daily players, mostly concentrated on PC. The game is not a true MMO, as its areas are instanced and do not allow for massive, persistent world interactions.

Onmyoji is a turn-based strategy RPG developed by NetEase Games, launched globally in 2018. Although it was very popular during its first couple of years, its player base has declined but remained stable due to ongoing updates, events, and NetEase's strong support in Asian markets. As a mobile-centric RPG with gacha elements, it retains some loyal daily players, especially in China and among global fans. However, it is not a traditional MMO as it lacks a persistent shared world with massive simultaneous player interactions, so it does not meet strict MMO criteria.
