Kingdom Maker is a mobile real-time strategy and RPG hybrid, developed and published by Scopely and released in 2022. While it received some marketing push at launch, it did not achieve the sustained popularity of Scopely's top titles and its current community engagement is low. The probable daily active users are in the lower thousands, as the game serves a niche strategy mobile audience and is now over two years beyond launch.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is a classic MMORPG launched in 2011 by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. Although it had a large player base at launch, the numbers have declined over the years, especially since it's now over a decade old and several expansions have come and gone. However, it still maintains a loyal core community thanks to regular content updates and the strength of the Star Wars IP. As an MMORPG, it does meet the MMO criteria with a persistent online world and the ability to interact with thousands of players simultaneously.
