The Front is a survival open-world shooter developed by Samar Studio. It launched in 2023 to average interest, but as an indie game in a highly competitive survival genre, it did not make major waves or maintain a top player base. Its Steam player counts have been modest, with daily active users likely in the low thousands in 2024. It does not qualify as an MMO, as its servers support limited numbers of concurrent players and lack large-scale persistent world features typical of MMOs.
