How these estimates are made

Eastward Legend: The Empyrean

Eastward Legend: The Empyrean is estimated to have 2 – 700 players a day. Around 1k – 99k accounts have played it in total. No Steam data is published for this game, so the range is modelled from the size of its Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube and app-store communities. It is a rough band rather than a measurement.

VRChat

VRChat is estimated to have 160k – 570k players a day. Around 3m – 8m accounts have played it in total. The range is anchored on Steam’s official concurrent-player and review counts, then converted to daily actives and accounts — so it covers the Steam player base and will under-count a game played mostly through its own launcher or on console.
