How these estimates are made

Black Desert

Black Desert is estimated to have 40k – 140k players a day. Around 1m – 3m accounts have played it in total. The range is anchored on Steam’s official concurrent-player and review counts, then converted to daily actives and accounts — so it covers the Steam player base and will under-count a game played mostly through its own launcher or on console.

Final Fantasy XI Online

Final Fantasy XI Online is estimated to have 260 – 120k players a day. Around 54k – 5m accounts have played it in total. No Steam data is published for this game, so the range is modelled from the size of its Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube and app-store communities. It is a rough band rather than a measurement.
