How these estimates are made

Anvil Empires

Anvil Empires is estimated to have 40 – 19k players a day. Around 18k – 2m accounts have played it in total. No Steam data is published for this game, so the range is modelled from the size of its Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube and app-store communities. It is a rough band rather than a measurement.

Ark: Survival Evolved

Ark: Survival Evolved is estimated to have 57k – 200k players a day. Around 8m – 21m accounts have played it in total. The range is anchored on Steam’s official concurrent-player and review counts, then converted to daily actives and accounts — so it covers the Steam player base and will under-count a game played mostly through its own launcher or on console.
