Age of Wushu is a wuxia-themed MMORPG developed by Snail Games, launched in 2013. While it once enjoyed a niche following for its martial arts sandbox gameplay, the player base has significantly declined due to age, limited Western updates, and competition. Remaining activity is largely centered in China, with small international pockets. Estimated daily active players globally are modest and mainly consist of dedicated fans.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is a classic MMORPG launched in 2011 by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. Although it had a large player base at launch, the numbers have declined over the years, especially since it's now over a decade old and several expansions have come and gone. However, it still maintains a loyal core community thanks to regular content updates and the strength of the Star Wars IP. As an MMORPG, it does meet the MMO criteria with a persistent online world and the ability to interact with thousands of players simultaneously.
