How these estimates are made

Active Matter

Active Matter is estimated to have 21k – 73k players a day. Around 99k – 250k accounts have played it in total. The range is anchored on Steam’s official concurrent-player and review counts, then converted to daily actives and accounts — so it covers the Steam player base and will under-count a game played mostly through its own launcher or on console.

World of Warcraft Classic

World of Warcraft Classic is estimated to have 880 – 410k players a day. Around 200k – 19m accounts have played it in total. No Steam data is published for this game, so the range is modelled from the size of its Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube and app-store communities. It is a rough band rather than a measurement.
