Ragnarok X: Next Generation is a mobile MMORPG released in 2021, leveraging the long-standing Ragnarok IP. While its initial launch saw very strong numbers, the game has experienced typical post-launch decline, with a decrease in Western interest but a still-active presence in Southeast Asia. As a mobile MMO, engagement is bolstered by daily events, but three years past release, a daily player count around 35,000 is likely, mostly from its most dedicated regions. The persistent world, large player hubs, and widespread multiplayer events qualify it as a true MMO.
