Longvinter is a small-scale indie multiplayer survival sandbox, released by Uuvana Studios. It has received modest interest in the niche of cozy/survival games but has not broken out as a mainstream hit. It is not structured as a massive persistent world with hundreds or thousands of concurrent players, so it does not meet MMO criteria.

Pokémon Go, launched in 2016 by Niantic Labs and The Pokémon Company, remains a leading mobile AR game. While its initial peak was much higher, it consistently maintains high active daily users due to ongoing events, strong brand recognition, and global reach. High engagement is reinforced through regular content updates and seasonal events, although numbers have declined from their 2016–2017 peak.
