Gray Zone Warfare is a tactical extraction shooter released in late April 2024 by MADFINGER Games. As a recent, high-profile release in the popular extraction shooter genre (similar to Escape from Tarkov), it's enjoyed significant initial player interest, especially on PC. PokeMMO is a long-running fan-made Pokémon MMO that launched in 2012 and has maintained a steady, niche but dedicated player base due to its unique multiplayer take on classic Pokémon games. Despite its age, it still attracts thousands of daily players thanks to regular updates and the enduring appeal of the Pokémon IP. However, as a fan project, it doesn't reach mainstream MMO numbers, but community buzz and statistics from forums/redits suggest daily activity in the lower tens of thousands.
