How these estimates are made
Elite: Dangerous
Elite: Dangerous is estimated to have 21k – 74k players a day. Around 2m – 4m accounts have played it in total. The range is anchored on Steam’s official concurrent-player and review counts, then converted to daily actives and accounts — so it covers the Steam player base and will under-count a game played mostly through its own launcher or on console.
Pets Vs. Monsters
Pets Vs. Monsters is estimated to have 110 – 52k players a day. Around 43k – 4m accounts have played it in total. No Steam data is published for this game, so the range is modelled from the size of its Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube and app-store communities. It is a rough band rather than a measurement.
