Blocklords is a blockchain-based medieval strategy RPG that has marketed itself as a persistent, multiplayer world. Ingress is a location-based augmented reality game developed by Niantic and initially published with support from Google in 2013. Although it was popular at launch and influenced later Niantic games like Pokémon GO, its user base has declined over the years. However, it still maintains a niche, dedicated player community. Given its age and the presence of ongoing events, current daily active players are likely in the 20,000–40,000 range.
